get link After consulting with the employee and understanding the basis of her grievance, we were able to determine that the Human Rights complaint had little chance of success. Furthermore, if the employee had continued with the Human Rights complaint and had proceeded to a Hearing, she would have been unable to bring her case forward in another forum. Based on our advice, the employee was able to withdraw her Human Rights complaint, and bring forward her grievance in another legal proceeding (which also gave her the opportunity to access free legal services). Because of the consultation, the employee’s chance to pursue her grievance and achieve a positive resolution was restored.
